Lyrics:
Lonely sidewalks, silent night
Bring the evening, deep inside
Hold me darling, touch me now
Let the feelings free tonight
Love is on the way
I can see it in your eyes
Let's give it one more try tonight baby
Love is on the way
I can see it in your eyes
Let's give it one more try tonight
Time of season, wipes your tears
No ryhme or reason, no more fears
And all the dreamin', is far behind
You are here now, and everythin's alright
Love is on the way
I can see it in your eyes
Let's give it one more try tonight baby
Love is on the way
I can see it in your eyes
Let's give it one more try tonight
And in the morning I'll be gone away
All the things I left behind
If you need me I'll come night and day
Let's stop the hands of time
Love is on the way
I can see it in your eyes
Let's give it one more try tonight baby
Love is on the way
I can see it in your eyes
Let's give it one more try tonight baby
Love is on the way
I can see it in your eyes
Let's give it one more try tonight baby
Love is on the way
I can see it in your eyes
Let's give it one more try tonight

Okay, here's "Love Is On the Way" by Saigon Kick...

(standard tuning)
The verse part is picked like so:
(repeat)
E-|---------0--------------------|-|
B-|-------0---0------------------|-|
G-|-----8-------8----------------|-|
D-|---6-----------6-----9~~--9---|-|
A-|-4-----------------7--------5-|-|
E-|-----------------5------------|-|
The chorus has basic chords and is picked like so:
E B
E-|---------0---------------0-------------------------------------------------|
B-|-------0---0-----------0---0------------5-4-------------4-5-4--------------|
G-|-----1-------1-------1-------1--------4-----4---------4-------4------------|

A-|-4---------------4----------------0---------------0------------------------|
E-|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Now, after the second chorus, there's the bridge ("And in the mornin' I'll be
gone away...") which also features simple chords picked like this:
Bsus2 Asus2 E (repeat)
E-|---------2---------------2---------------0---------------0-----------------|
B-|-------2---2-----------2---2-----------0---0-----------0---0---------------|
G-|-----4-------4-------4-------4-------2-------2-------1-------1-------------|
D-|---4-----------4---4-----------4---2-----------2---2-----------2-----------|
A-|-2---------------2---------------0-----------------------------------------|
E-|-------------------------------------------------0-------------------------|
Okay, here's the tab for the solo, it's not as hard as it may look. I'm no
lead guitarist by ANY stretch of the imagination and I can play it without
too much effort. This is played over the verse progression:
E-|--9h11h12-11-9----9--------------------------------------------------------|
B-|---------------12---9--------------------------10p9h10-9---14p12--14-------|
G-|----------------------9-8----------------9p8h9-----------------------------|
D-|--------------------------11~~~--11p9h11-----------------------------------|
A-|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E-|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E-|---------------------------------------------9h11-12-/14-12-11-12-/16------|
B-|-12p10p9-10----9-----------------------------x-----------------------------|
G-|------------11---11-9-11-9-8--/9-9--/6-6~~---x-----------------------------|
D-|---------------------------------------------x-----------------------------|
A-|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E-|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E-|-14-14-12-12p11-11p9-9-11h12-11-12~~---------------------------------------|
B-|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
G-|---------------------------------------11p9h11-9--11--11p9h11-11h13p11-----|
D-|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A-|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E-|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
E-|-------------------------------9-9~~--12-12~~-|
B-|---------9h10h12--10-9-10-12~~----------------|
G-|-9--11---x------------------------------------|
D-|---------x------------------------------------|
A-|---------x------------------------------------|
E-|----------------------------------------------|
And 'dat be all there is to it... I think the hardest part is stretching your
fingers to fit the first two chords (the verses). It's a pain in the ass.
Don't be afraid to use your pinky...
Good luck...
